WORKSHOP | Walk the Talk: co-creating social safety in fieldwork

Fieldwork is one of the most exciting parts of a career in the Earth and Environmental sciences - but it can also bring challenges, especially around social safety. In this workshop, you’ll get a chance to reflect on your own experiences, see how others navigate similar situations, and explore practical ways to make fieldwork safer and more inclusive.

Through a fun and interactive Walk the Talk approach, you’ll share your perspective, learn new strategies, and take away concrete ideas that you can apply in your own fieldwork. You’ll also contribute to shaping recommendations that can influence policies and practices, giving you a real voice in creating safer fieldwork environments.
