You are currently working on a (master, PhD , EngD or PostDoc) research project and that probably has your hands full. At the same time, you wonder what your future career will look like. Have you considered what you would like to do with your academic degree? Do you want to continue as a researcher or would you rather find a job outside of academia? In this workshop, a panel of experienced earth and environmental scientists working in different fields, such as (scientific and applied) research, education, governmental institutions, and the private sector, who already made this decision, tell about their journey. You will leave this session with inspiration and new ideas, tips & tricks and answers to your questions. After a plenary part, you will have the opportunity to ask the panel members anything you want, in an informal one-to-one setting, so you can speak freely and learn from experiences of senior earth and environmental scientists.

Do you already have a question about your future career path? Let us know via e-mail (nac@nwo.nl) with ‘Question career session’ in the subject line. Your question will be answered in this session.

The session is organized by NWO and KNGMG.
