In this session, we present new and ongoing scientific drilling missions with participation from Netherlands-based scientists. Both the terrestrial (ICDP) and marine (IODP3) communities participate in many projects that are in various stages of progress from workshop to ongoing drilling. We will also launch the new scientific drilling community website for the Netherlands: https://scientific-drilling.sites.uu.nl. Special attention will be given to the UrbEnLab and GLACE-NS initiatives which are planned drilling projects in the Netherlands. There will be room for discussion on new initiatives, funding strategies and short announcements.
